Accessibility Statement
Accessibility is Ockem’s business — we help organizations make their documents accessible and prove it. We hold our own websites to the same standard we certify against, and this page describes where we stand, how we test, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Conformance target
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across ockem.com and proof.ockem.com. Both sites are built with semantic HTML landmarks, a skip-to-content link on every page, keyboard-operable navigation, and color contrast checked against the AA thresholds on our dark and light surfaces.
How we test
- Automated checks — every public page is scanned with axe-core against the WCAG 2.1 A/AA rulesets before release.
- Manual checks — keyboard-only navigation and focus-order review of interactive flows (navigation, forms, and the trial funnel).
The most recent evaluation was completed on July 19, 2026, covering all public pages of both sites.
Motion and animation
Animated elements on our marketing pages respect the operating system’s reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
Known limitations
One product illustration on the Proof page deliberately displays a low-contrast text specimen — it is the example failure the product is shown detecting. The specimen is decorative, hidden from assistive technology, and its content is not needed to understand the page. Beyond that, we are not aware of outstanding WCAG 2.1 AA failures on our public pages. If our automated or manual checks surface an issue we cannot fix immediately, we will list it here with a workaround and a target date.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any Ockem site or in any document or certificate we produce, please tell us: email [email protected] or use the contact form. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix confirmed barriers as a priority.
