What waits for you

Your Review queue. Once Proof has done what it can, the question is what's left for you, across all your documents. Review answers that. It holds the decisions only a person can make. It groups them by the kind of decision, not by document. So you can answer the same question many times in a row, with your attention on one thing. The four figures at the top size the work. Documents in review counts documents, and Checks waiting counts the decisions inside them. One document can need more than one. One check from Compliant counts documents with a single review left. Confirm it, and they're done. Those are the quickest wins. Reviewed in the last seven days shows your team's pace.

One card for each kind of question

Below them, under Where your judgment is needed, each card is one kind of question. A card tagged AI drafted means Proof has already written an answer, and you check it. Its button reads Review drafts. The other cards ask you to confirm a check yourself, such as reading order. Their button reads Start session. Greyed cards have nothing waiting today. They show what else review covers, each with the WCAG criterion it checks. Not every check has a card. Some, such as use of color, are confirmed on the document's own page instead. The last checks before certifying covers those.

Where to start

With several cards waiting, where should you start? The cards that bring the most documents to Compliant come first. So the top card is usually the place to begin. Look for the green chip, such as 2 to Compliant. It counts the documents where this card's question is the only thing left. Answer it, and they're done. Each card opens a review session. One question, asked of one document after another. The module Review sessions shows how a session works. Answering Proof's alt text drafts has its own lesson there. Now you can see what's waiting for you, and choose where to start.
